Things Won’t Play Nice Together

I spent the weekend not only rearranging my home office for the new PC (and completely destroying my printer stand in the process), but also trying to get everything to work on the new PC, and all the apps and data copied over. The new PC has problems. It can’t even see the DVD drive. And when I installed the drivers for the printer (which is from the same company, HP!), then other things stopped working. Aaargh.
So, don’t expect a lot of updates or e-mail from me lately as I get this whole thing worked out. Time spent on the computer these days is taken up with trying to get all this going. It’s put me in a major funk. I hate when new toys don’t work like they should. But I will persevere!
At least I had new Deadwood and Carniv??le to watch last night, although both of those made me even more edgy.
