Indecision’s Got Me On The Run

Last night on the The Daily Show, Dennis Miller made the same pope = Cliff from Cheers joke that I made in my blog on Tuesday. Wow, I could be a writer for Dennis Miller!
No, no, Jennifer, please no… First Elektra, and now this.
I haven’t bought any new CDs in awhile, other than the special edition of Beck’s Guero with the DVD-Audio disc. In fact, the number of CDs I’ve bought so far this year can be counted on one hand (which is why I haven’t updated the cd list lately). It’s not that I don’t want to buy any – my wish list is huge. I’ve waited so long because I’ve been spending money on other things, and now I can’t narrow it down to just the CDs I can afford/want the most. It’s like give ‘em all to me, or none at all! But not buying new stuff does give me a chance to relisten to old stuff and to listen to my monthly eMusic downloads. I’m going to have to rectify this soon though. The list keeps growing. Looks like this is going to be another good year for music. Heck, the reissue of Whipped Cream & Other Delights just came out…
Latre.

I hate to break it to you, Rog, but last week on “Wait Wait . . . Don’t Tell Me!,” one of the panelists (Charlie Pierce?) made the Pope-from-Cheers joke (drove it into the ground, actually).

Bummer! At least I know that Dennis Miller is as unoriginal as I am, though I’m not sure I find that comforting.
