I recently took my digital camera with me on my morning constitutional, to take pictures of a prairie dog colony on my route. For some reason, the little varmints were really worked up that morning and were chattering like crazy. They sounded like chirping birds.

When I got home, I discovered that I had accidentally taken a 20-second digital movie at one point instead of a still picture. The rodents can be heard loudly chirping on it. I would post it here, but the mpg file is pretty big and the merit of it is a bit in question. It does have a sort of interesting amateur artsy quality to it, but it’s no Un chien andalou. Mostly it’s a constantly moving view of the ground from a swinging camera. Michael Bay has nothing to fear.
