Okay, just this once. I may be late to the game on this one, but I just discovered the live action Simpsons opening that someone filmed. Very cool. You could spend hours identifying the characters…
Also, the new trailer for X-Men 3 premiered last night during 24. I guess it makes me feel a little better about it. That shot of Angel flying is pretty cool. As is the one of Juggernaut chasing Kitty Pryde (she phases through the walls; he crashes through them).
Latre.

RE the Simpsons, some people certainly have a lot of time on their hands

Bill: the live action Simpsons is actually a promo for “Simpsons” reruns on some British TV channel, so it’s just a TV commercial, albeit a very entertaining one.

I didn’t know that, Sue. Explains a lot.
It would be great to have the time and money (and talent) to do something like that.

That makes sense. It looked very professional.

I heard it was actually endorsed by Groening and will be used to open the 17th season of the show. But I don’t care enough to go back to Google and get confirmation.

Oh wait, you said “pop culture” – that, this ain’t.
