Chain Songs

Here’s an interesting musical experiment, which I heard about on Attack of the Show. It’s from Peppermill Records and is called 30 Days. It features 30 artists recording 30 songs in 30 days, one per day. One artist records a song and then passes it on to the next artist, who must complete his/her recording in 24 hours. What’s interesting is that the songs are thematically linked to flow into each other (for the most part). The album is free for download under the Creative Commons license. I haven’t listened to the whole thing yet, but what I’ve heard so far has kept up my interest. The music is mostly of the electronic instrumental genre, but there’s some variety. I don’t think it’s something I would’ve paid for, but for free it’s worth a listen.
Health Update: I’ve had no ocular migraines for a week now, huzzah. I feel confident that it was all part of the illness and that they’re gone for now. Hopefully it will be another ten years or so before I have another one. However, my vision in general has not entirely snapped back to where it was before the illness, and now I’m forced to get a pair of prescription reading glasses for computer work. Ugh.
Latre.

How, exactly, does one get a login for the 30 days site? I see no help re: that on the site.

No idea. Maybe that’s only for the artists?
Luckily you don’t need to login to download the album. (I did “download entire project in a handy zip file”.)
