Blizzard ‘06

Neighbor Dog Lila is Queen of the Hill

‘Bout time we got some decent snowfall around here. Last winter there were no blizzards at all. It’s still coming down but should taper off soon. The prospect of digging out does not have me excited. And on top of everything, I have to Work From Home today. No snow day for the wicked! More pics on my Flickr site.

Latre.

P.S. Sorry for the lack of updates these past months. Just no time. Lots going on – some of it bad but most of it very good. Hopefully after Christmas is over I can be a little more regular. (Metamucil does help, btw.)

Brr. It’s nearly 60 degrees outside in central Ohio. Used to be, we’d at least get some snow. Not lots & lots like you un/lucky people, but – 60 degrees on the winter solstice for heaven’s sake. Darned global warming.

    GAAAH – you startled me!

Ironic how so many people’s blogs get updated LESS the more stuff DOES happen to them. Makes me wonder about the basic idea behind the overall system…

That’s because when Real Life happens, there’s no time to write about it. Does only the bored blogger blog?

I know a number of bloggers and for some, like my wife, it’s a time-SAVER (as opposed to keeping up with her huge circle of family, friends and assorted well-wishers) – for others, it’s a networking/career enhancing tool. For still others, it’s a writing exercise.

I only know a few people who arguably started blogs only because they were bored and/or lonely, and by and large they didn’t last long. But checking this one every day for months for no reason makes me want to finally get around to installing an RSS reader so I can be informed of updates…
