Got Out Of Denver, Baby

I’m back! Spent a fun week in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, including some time in Atlantic City. I’ll tell you all about it later, or maybe I won’t. In the meantime, here’s a favorite from the many, many pictures I took on the trip.
Oh, and I just happened to fly back on one of the worst days for air travel of the year, due to air traffic control computer glitches and a severe storm system. I spent several hours on the runway at Newark. Not a better time can be had!

Yayyyyyyyy! (Not for the bad air-transit situation, but for the get-outta-Dodge one). Can’t wait to hear about your adventures.

Sigh. Jersey shore. Sigh. Well, I hope your entire trip was wonderful and more!

I don’t think the phrase “Stuck in Newark – you lucky duck!” has ever been uttered…

Maybe you were flying Delta? I’ve heard it stands for Doesn’t Ever Leave The Airport.

I had to fly from Louisville to Baltimore on Friday and we got delayed for about an hour. Not too bad, but getting stuck in Newark must suck.

Hey, thought I’d ask the gang here – anyone else a fan of the TV show “Max Headroom”? I’m converting my VHS collection to DVD prior to a move and I see I still have three full sets of the whole series recorded commercial-free off of Bravo (back when it aired the highbrow stuff) – would be a shame just to toss ‘em out, if anyone’s still interested. It’s not like you can get it on DVD or anything!
I’d post them to Craigslist but I’ve been trying to give stuff away on Craigslist – like monitors and printers and furniture – for weeks now, and nobody ever follows through!

Not on DVD? What’s wrong with those bastards? (I’ve got a complete run on VHS as well: should probably dub it to DVD before the tapes disintegrate…)

I think the show was just so far ahead of its time, they’re waiting until it will seem topical to audiences.
Say, I wonder if Roger has done anything blogworthy lately? Prolly not.
